Ville Platte based Faith House closing due to budget cuts

On Wednesday, the Faith House announced that it will be officially closed for good on June 30, 2017.
According to a statement from Faith House, the forced closing is “due to budget cuts.”
The organization has provided counseling and support for individuals who are victims of domestic violence in Evangeline Parish.
However, now anyone looking for assistance in dealing with a domestic violence situation will need to contact Faith House’s Lafayette office at (337) 232-8954.
In a final statement from local Faith House Director Marie Guidry, she states, “Thank you for your support.”
