The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 17 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Charles N. Reed, 46, 212 Main St., Mamou, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for possession of a schedule II CDS, prohibited acts/drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana (second offense), and possession of a schedule IV CDS.
• Kelly J. Segura, 35, 220 Hickory St., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for distribution/manufacture or possession with intent of a schedule II CDS. Segura’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Coby G. Ortego, 33, 1703 Gradney Lane, Mamou, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for theft, possession of a schedule II CDS, and disturbing the peace (drunk). Ortego’s bond was set at $8,000.00.
• Joseph Z. Fontenot, 19, 800 6th St., Mamou, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for distribution/manufacture or possession with intent of a schedule II CDS. Fontenot was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Kristan L. Bordelon, 39, 1722 Holly St., Pine Prairie, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for telephone harrassment. Bordelon was released from jail on a $7,500.00 bond.
• Joshua J. Robinson, 21, 116 East Lincoln Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for false imprisonment armed with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm, and aggravated assault. Robinson’s bond was set at $130,000.00.
• Jennifer L. Swayze, 39, 946 Mckinly St., Jennings, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for carnal knowledge of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Swayze was released from jail on a $6,000.00 bond.
• John Z. Fontenot, 19, 800 6th St., Mamou, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for distribution/manufacture or possession with the intent of a schedule II controlled dangerous substance (CDS). Fontenot’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Coby G. Ortego, 33, 1703 Gradney Lane, Mamou, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for theft, possession of a schedule II CDS, and disturbing the peace (drunk). Ortego’s bond was set at $8,000.00.
• Jamie P. Dupre, 47, 2434 Morgan Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for telephone harrassment and simple assault. Dupre was released from jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
• Kelly J. Segura, 35, 220 Hickory St., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for distribution/ manufacture or possession with the intent of a schedule II CDS. Segura’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Charles N. Reed, 46, 212 Main St., Mamou, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for possession of a schedule II CDS, possession of marijuana (second offense), possession of a schedule IV CDS, and prohibited acts/drug paraphernalia. Reed’s bond was set at $35,000.00.
• Lashonda J. Carter, 23, 3816 Elder St., Alexandria, was arrested on July 22, 2016 for theft by fraud. Carter was released from jail on a $15,000.00 bond.
• Martha L. F. Charles, 31, 315 North Dossman St., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 22, 2016 for theft of good under $500.00. Charles was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
• Delisa Z. Frey, 46, 251 North Second St., Eunice, was arrested on July 22, 2016 for identity theft (misdemeanor). Frey was released from jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
• Seth K. Lebleu, 18, 3331 East Second St., Basile, was arrested on July 22, 2016 for theft over $5,000.00 (one count), tampering with property of another (two counts), giving false report or complaint (three counts), and simple criminal damage to property. Lebleu’s bond was set at $37,000.00.
• Devin D. Smith, 17, 2534 Belair Cove Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 22, 2016 for theft of a motor vehicle and simple assault. Smith’s bond was set at $30,000.00.
