The Ville Platte Police Department reported 16 recent booking into the city jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Jimmy Dunaway, 405 W. Lasalle St., Ville Platte, was arrested on August 24, 2016 for disturbing the peace by disorderly language. Dunaway was incarcerated on a $200.00 bond.
• Francena Sims, 31, 806 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was arrested on August 31, 2016 for domestic abuse battery and simple criminal damage. Sims was released from jail on a $1,700.00 bond.
• Johnathan Bias, 23, 511 S. Dupre St., Ville Platte, was arrested on August 31, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Bias was released from jail on a $1,000.00 bond.
• Dylan Reed, 21, 167 Burkley St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 4, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Reed was released from jail on a $1,000.00 bond.
• Zackery Willis, 31, 543 Prosper St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 5, 2016 for theft of goods. Willis was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
• Cathy Voyce, 45, 315 S. Stagg St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 5, 2016 for improper supervision. Voyce was released from jail on a $250.00 bond.
• Kizzie Cullivan, 37, 411 W. Hickory St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 5, 2016 for no reflective gear, disturbing the peace, obstruction of passage, and public intoxication. Cullivan was released from jail on a $800.00 bond.
• Damen Lafleur, 48, 701 Beauregard St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 9, 2016 for theft of goods. Lafleur remains incarcerated on a $500.00 bond.
• Derrick Tezeno, 38, 501 N.E. Railroad St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 12, 2016 for possession drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer. Tezeno was released from jail on a $3,250.00 bond.
• Kyle Morein, 30, 617 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 12, 2016 for theft. Morein was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
• Antonie Ray, 49, 818 Owen St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 12, 2016 for no reflective gear, public intoxication, obstructing public passage, resisting an officer, and battery on a police officer (two counts). Ray was released from jail on a $3,850.00 bond.
• Tara Soileau, 29, 1398 Chataignier Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 14, 2016 for no child restraints, flight from an officer, driver not licensed, and expired license plate. Soileau was released from jail on a $1,600.00 bond.
• Frida L. Freeman, 58, 224 E. Wilson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 15, 2016 for theft of goods. Freeman was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
• Jason Guillory, 41, 1129 Kenneth St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 15, 2016 for prohibited acts, careless operation of a vehicle, failure to maintain control with accident, failure to change address in 10 days, unlawful use of license, no proof of insurance. Guillory remains incarcerated on a $4,500.00 bond.
• Barbra Griffin, 56, 506 N. Fontenot St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 16, 2016 for criminal mischief. Griffin was released from jail on a $200.00 bond.
• Donomic Drummer, 24, 2802 N. Grand Ave., Tyler, TX., was arrested on September 16, 2016 for possession of a schedule I, prohibited acts, and resisting an officer. Drummer was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
