Ville Platte Boys & Girls Club registration set for April 4-6

Registration for the Ville Platte Boys & Girls Club’s Summer Program has been set for April 4th through the 6th.
Registration will be held between the hours of 4 and 6 p.m. on those three days and registration will not be extended. Registration will take place at 342 Main Street.
Children eligible for the program must be 8 years old to 18 years old and enrolled in a school somewhere in Evangeline Parish. Parents must provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate during registration.
The membership enrollment fee is $125 and can be paid with cash or money order only.
The registration includes a cooking academy (with uniforms), at least three field trips, intro to musical instruments, mosaic art, computer skills, golfing skills, CPR, self defense, sewing, hair grooming, dress for success, health screenings, painting, cooking demonstrations, smoke meat demonstrations, cake decorating, gardening, health education yoga, Zumba, pilates, seatlbeat safety, bullying, banking, budgeting, investing, college information/scholarships, board games, chess, backgammon, Scrabble, air hockey, ping pong, charades, dominoes, lunch and snacks daily and much more.
The eight-week program will run June 5th through July 28, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
