The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 17 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Harold J. Miller, 40, 332 Janet Rd., Eunice, was arrested on February 16, 2017 for issuing worthless checks (eight counts). Miller was released from jail on a $12,225.00 bond.
• Courtney Dupre, 26, 211 Demoruelle St., Ville Platte, was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI), no turn signal and no head lights. Dupre was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
• Nicole F. Bouley, 40, 1017 Live Oak St., Mamou, was arrested for criminal trespassing, theft and simple burglary. Bouley was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Terence Thomas, 32, 1208 Kennedy St., Mamou, was arrested for DWI (second) and no turn signal. Thomas was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Maranda King, 27, 1015 Lake Cove Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested for theft by fraud. King was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Harvey Collins Jr., 42, 1026 Three Sisters Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested for DWI and speeding. Collins was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
• Christopher Ferguson, 37, 214 Tina Drive, Ville Platte, was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI), no license, aggravated flight, possession of a schedule II and littering. Ferguson was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
• Donald R. Griffin, 907 Edward Knote Toe St., Ville Platte, was arrested for soliciting for prostitutes. Griffin was released from jail on a $35,000.00 bond.
• Reqilinsky M. Joseph, 20, 220 Dejean Circle, Crowley, was arrested for non-consensual disclosure of a private image (five counts) and cyberstalking (three counts). Joseph was released from jail on a $60,000.00 bond.
• Michael W. Guillory Jr., 38, 153 Old Chicot Park Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested for simple arson. Guillory’s bond was set at $35,000.00.
• Latosha L. Pleasant, 27, 715 Dr. Carver St., Ville Platte, was arrested for criminal damage to property. Pleasant’s bond was set at $60,000.00.
• Mitchell P. Guidry, 30, 1356 Reeton School Rd., Ville Platte, Mamou was arrested on February 18, 2017 for DWI (first) and driving on right side of the road. Guidry was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
• James H. Veillon, 18, 718 Prudhomme Lane, Ville Platte, was arrested for DWI, driving on right side of the road and possession of an alcoholic beverage. Veillon was released from jail on a $2,000.00 bond.
• Joshua O. O’Connor, 36, 1616 Elm St., Ville Platte, was arrested on February 19, 2017 for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. O’Connor’s bond was set at $35,000.00.
• Jody Thrasher, 41, 11072 Oakdale Rd., Oakdale, was arrested on February 21, 2017 for attempted second degree murder. Thrasher remains incarcerated on a $350,000.00 bond.
• Emil J. Richard, 49, 1021 CV Ave., Ville Platte, was arrested on February 21, 2017 for simple battery, theft and armed robbery. Richard’s bond was set at $105,000.00.
• Connie A. Bihm, 41, 3555 Hwy. 104, Opelousas, was arrested on February 21, 2017 for theft. Bihm’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
