Evangeline Parish Police Juror for District 9 Daniel Arvie looks over rows of cemented tombs at the old cemetery located on Shuff Road outside of Ville Platte. The cemetery was damaged during the historic flooding back in August and has yet to be repaired. Arvie and the rest of the Police Jury have taken steps to change that.
