A man of the people

In this photograph from the early 1990’s, former Evangeline Community Action Agency Assistant Director, and current mayor of Ville Platte, Jennifer Vidrine talks with former U.S. Congressman Clyde Holloway in his Washington D.C. office concerning his help in obtaining funds to assist parish residents with their electirc bills. Holloway passed away on October 16 at age 72 due to complications from pneumonia. (Gazette file photo)
