Veteran’s plaque stolen from parish cemetery

Above is the grave of a veteran that served in the United States Navy. The square peice of concrete at the base of the cross made by the cemetery’s caretaker J.D. Soileau is where the veteran’s plaque was before recently being stolen from the Leon Manuel Cemetery. (Gazette photo by Elizabeth West)
