The Ville Platte Police Department reported nine recent bookings into the city jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Ruby Thomas, 1802 Kembo St., Ville Platte, was arrested on August 1, 2016 for improper supervision of a minor. Thomas was released from jail on a $250.00 bond.
• Nirca Alfred, 419 W. Oak, Ville Platte, was arrested on August 1, 2016 for improper supervision of a minor. Alfred was released on a $250.00 bond.
• Cody Guidry, 250 Lanse De Cavalier, Ville Platte, was arrested on August 7, 2016 for harassment and resisting an officer. Guidry was released from jail on a $1,250.00 bond.
• Hannah Thomas, 609 W. Oak St., Ville Platte, was arrested for disturbing the peace by fighting. Thomas remains incarcerated on a $200.00 bond.
• Elvina Lafleur, 52, 1111 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was arrested for disturbing the peace by fighting. Lafleur remains incarcerated on a $200.00 bond.
• Davis Freeman, 27, 806 Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was arrested on August 9, 2016 for simple battery. Freeman was released from jail on a $1,000.00 bond.
• Eldridge Thomas, 28, 519 E. Jefferson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on August 10, 2016 for disturbing the peace. Thomas was released from jail on a $200.00 bond.
• Garrot Jack, 27, 603 E. Jefferson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on August 10, 2016 for disturbing the peace. Jack was released from jail on a $200.00 bond.
• Zackery Willis, 31, 119 Webre Lane, Opelousas, was arrested on August 11, 2016 for resisting an officer, theft, and prohibited acts. Willis was released from jail on a $2,500.00 bond.
