The Ville Platte Police Department reported 18 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Murphy Lemelle, 36, 714 N. Stagg, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 21, 2016 for disturbing the peace by drunkenness, prohibited acts, misrepresentation during booking. Arvie’s bond was set at $2,900.00 and made bail.
•Latasha Pleasant, 26, 715 Dr. Carver, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 21, 2016 for disturbing the peace by drunkenness, prohibited acts, misrepresentation during booking. Pleasant’s bond was set at $2,900.00 and made bail.
•Trevion Frank, 28, 221 Emerald Drive, Opelousas, was arrested on May 21, 2016 for theft of goods. Frank’s bond was set at $1,000.00 and made bail.
•Devondrey Carter, 28, 611 Taron Street, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 22, 2016 for disturbing the peace and simple assault. Carter’s bond was set at $200.00 and made bail.
•Davante Ardoin, 615 N. Reed, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 20, 2016 for criminal damage to property and domestic abuse battery. Ardoin’s bond was set at $1,700.00 and made bail.
•Murphy Lemelle, 36, 714 N. Stagg, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 23, 2016 for simple battery. Lemelle’s bond was set at $1,000.00 and made bail.
•Melvin Jackson, 27, 129 Richard Loop, Morrow, was arrested on May 25, 2016 for disturbing the peace.
•Shannon Fontenot, 28, 806 N. Latour, No. 32, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 24, 2016 for disturbing the peace. Fontenot’s bond was set at $200.00 and made bail.
•Maranda Gauthier, 33, 806 N. Latour, No. 20, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 24, 2016 for disturbing the peace. Gauthier’s bond was set at $200.00 and made bail.
•Keidris Pitre, 33, 1186 N. Chataignier, No. 10, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 24, 2016 for criminal damage to property. Pitre’s bond was set at $700.00 and made bail.
•Nathaniel Sanchez, 37, 906 W. LaSalle, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 25, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Sanchez’s bond was set at $1,000.00.
•Angel Varnado, 27, 906 W. LaSalle, Ville Platte was arrested on May 25, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Varnado’s bond was set at $1,000.00 and made bail.
•Krystal Clark, 55, 5536 St. Landry, Ville Platte was arrested on May 27, 2016 for criminal mischief. Clark’s bond was set at $200.00 and made bail.
•Derrick Tezeno, 501 NE Railroad, Ville Platte was arrested for disturbing the peace by intoxication. Tezeno’s bond was set at $200.00 and made bail.
•Treg Jacko, 24, 1110 Verna Street, No. 207, Ville Platte was arrested on May 31, 2016 no reflective gear and prohibited acts. Jacko’s bond was set at $2,700.00 and is incarcerated.
•James Castille, 30, 330 Enola Street, Ville Platte was arrested on June 3, 2016 no reflective gear and prohibited acts. Jacko’s bond was set at $2,700.00 and is incarcerated.
•Martha Charles, 31, 315 N. Dossman, Ville Platte, was arrested on June 5, 2016 for theft of goods. Charles’ bond was set at $500.00 and made bail.
•Christopher Lavigne, 22, 1211 Celestine, Apt. 4, Ville Platte, was arrested on June 3, 2016 for theft of goods. Lavigne’s bond was set at $500.00 and made bail.
