The rain may have kept Tournoi riders from competing last Sunday but the weather can’t stop them forever.
Louisiana Tournoi Association President Kent Saucier said, “We are hoping that the rain will hold off and the track will be dry enough for us to have the Tournoi this weekend.”
However, with the forecast showing rain all weekend, the Tournoi Association may have to face rescheduling the event once again.
“If the rain keeps us from being able to have the Tournoi this weekend then we will keep trying to have it every weekend after,” Saucier said. “If the weather looks better on a Saturday then we may change which day we end up having it on.”
For now, the association is planning for the Tournoi to take place Sunday, November 1. Due to the time change that will happen this weekend and because of the potential bad weather being forecasted for Sunday, the Tournoi Association has decided to begin the competition at 12:30 p.m. at Industrial Park.
