Joseph Celestine-Rosenwald Reunion Board meeting
The Joseph Celestine/Rosenwald Schools Reunion Board will be having their meeting on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. The meeting will be held at the New Life Outreach Ministry located at 1180 Hwy. 95 in Mamou. All committee members are asked to attend this meeting. Please bring your suggestion and ideas forward. If anyone else would like to join us, you are welcome to attend. Catholic Daughters plan annual salad bingo fund raiser
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Sacred Heart of Jesus Court #1674, will host it annual salad bingo fund raiser on Tuesday, June 7, at the Northside Civic Center. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the meal will be served beginning at 6 p.m. The bingo games will begin at 7 p.m. after the meal. The cost is $15, which includes the salad, drink and dessert. Antioch Baptist Church sets Vacation Bible School dates
Antioch Baptist Church Vacation Bible School will be held June 13-16 at 5:30 p.m. nightly. Classes are available for children ages two-18, as well as adults. The classes will be led by Rev. Eradly Ben Sr., Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church.
