•Early registration for Summer Reading begins on Tuesday May 31st at all library branches. Our kick off event is scheduled for Saturday, June 4th @ 10 am at the main library in Ville Platte with a special storytelling experience with The Louisiana Mermaid!
•Artist performances will occur on Tuesdays at 10 am at Turkey Creek Branch and 2 & 6 p.m. at Ville Platte Main; on Wednesdays at 10 am at Pine Prairie Branch and 2 pm at Mamou Teen Center; on Thursdays at 10 am Basile Branch and at 3 p.m. Chataignier Village Hall on the following dates: June 7, 8 & 9th : MAGICIAN MITCH RICHARD; June 28, 29, & 30th : TROUPE D’EVANGELINE; July 12, 13, 14th : STORYTELLER NATHAN ROBERTS; July 19, 20 ,21st : MATTHEW NOEL, YoYo ARTIST.
