Disciple Baptist Church holding its
annual revival from May 31-June 2
The Disciple Baptist Church, located at 1342 Rev. E.D. Alfred Street in Ville Pllate, is holding its Annual Summer Revival from Tuesday, May 31 to Thursday, June 2. The revival will start at 6:30 p.m. each night. The evangelist will be Rev. Allen Ben, pastor of Zion Travelers Baptist Church in Mamou.
Mohorn Baptist Church to celebrate
130th anniversary on May 22
The Mohorn Baptist Church in Plaisance will celebrate its 130th anniversary Sunday, May 22, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Nicholas Thomas Sr., pastor, will lead the celebration. The guest minister will be Rev. Dr. Joshua Joseph. The theme for the event will be “We’ve Come This Far By Faith - Functioning as a Body of Gifts to God’s Glory.”
